At Rena Buckley Chartered Physiotherapy Clinic our aim is to provide a quality physiotherapy service to the whole community. We specialise in assessing and treating back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint and muscle pain as well post-operative rehabilitation. We focus on doing our best to help you get back to your best through hands-on physiotherapy accompanied with good advice and appropriate exercises.

Meet the Physio

Rena Buckley is a chartered physiotherapist and is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists

Rena Buckley is a chartered physiotherapist and a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. Rena graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy and Performance Science (Hons) from University College Dublin in 2009. She returned to University College Dublin and completed a Masters of Science in Sports Physiotherapy in 2017. Rena has worked extensively with sports teams locally over the past few years, developing strong working relationships with GAA and rugby teams. We are the club physiotherapists with Aghinagh, Clondrohid and Naomh Abán. Rena plays ladies football with Donoughmore and camogie with Inniscarra. She captained the Cork Senior Camogie team to All-Ireland victory in 2017 and the Cork Ladies Football team to All-Ireland victory in 2012. She has won 11 Senior All-Ireland Football medals and 7 Senior All-Ireland Camogie medals. In 2015 she was awarded with a UCD Alumni award by the UCD School of Physiotherapy. She was a nominee for the RTÉ Sports Person on the Year in 2015 and 2017 and was the joint winner along with teammate Briege Corkery of the Irish Times Sportswoman of the Year in 2016.
